CETEV is an experimentation and testing center that specializes in Non-Crop, Horticultural and Ornemental trials. Our team focuses on studies and trials to tackle weeding and maintenance issues in green areas and industrial sites. We also study new and existing solutions to protect, treat and maintain trees, shrubs, bushes and plants. CETEV was founded in 2006, in reply to the need for specialized trials in this sector, which is technically different from agricultural and crop applications.

Designing a trial for non-crop, horticultural or ornemental applications requires an expert approach. CETEV has been certified for Good Experimental Practice since 2009 and provides a range of trials, tests and studies that fit the needs of the sector for thorough and reliable science.
If your product has already been validated and registered for use on agricultural crops, CETEV can adapt your protocol to meet the needs of the Non-Crop and Horticultural sector, based on scientific recommendations and depending on your needs. We work in direct relation to our customers but you’re also welcome to use our subcontracting services. Whether you’re looking for a regulatory GEP-trial for registration and homologation purposes, a study according to the EPPO or CEB method or a short test to help you make quick and objective decisions on a new product, all our trials and studies are designed to fit your needs.

Since January 1st, 2017 in France, phytopharmaceutical products have been prohibited for the maintenance of Non-Crop Zones and Ornemental areas that are open to the public. Biocontrol, low-risk products and products that comply with the requirements for organic farming are still authorized. The CETEV team guides you through regulations for relevant, well-adjusted trials.
