OUR MISSION

Evaluate, validate & innovate to maintain and protect

CETEV is a test and experimentation center that studies applications for the Non-Crop sector. Our team focuses on studies and trials for products and technologies that aim to tackle weeding and maintenance issues in public green areas and local & industrial infrastructure. We also conduct studies on treatments to protect and cure trees, shrubs, bushes and plants from parasites and diseases. CETEV was founded in 2006 to specifically focus on this highly technical sector, which requires a different level of expertise than farm crop trials. An overview of our action range:

TT
Evaluate
• Product development trials
• Technology tests and trials
• R&D trials
• Showcase trials
Validate
• GEP trials and studies
• Registration and homologation trials

public recreation areas, local infrastructure & complex industrial sites

a highly regulated field of action

In France, phytosanitary or phytopharmaceutical crop protection products can no longer be used in public recreation areas or to maintain local and industrial sites since January 1st, 2017, with the exception of low-risk and biocontrol products as well as products that are authorized for organic farming.

OUR ASSETS

CETEV offers expert know-how in studies, tests and trials for products and treatments that will be used in the non-crop, horticultural and ornemental sector. Our multidisciplinary team helps industrial and academic players make the right decisions when it comes to meeting regulatory requirements, finding new applications and creating new products for this highly specialized field.

Trials that fit your solution

Our center of expertise has the required know-how, accreditations and certifications to help your project move forward. We conduct efficient and relevant studies that are not only carried out in the open field; we also offer a wide range of test sites for specific trials, such as railway roads, parks, gardens and sidewalks.

COMPANY HISTORY

CETEV was founded to meet the need for trials that take into account the technical challenges of public recreation areas, ornemental gardens and complex infrastructure. These trials require a different approach than crop and agricultural trials: they present a higher level of technicity and rely on specific knowledge of the sector’s problems and issues.

Thanks to its specialized team and extensive network, CETEV offers expert know-how in terms of plant physiology, applicable regulations, experimental design and technical engineering to help you develop efficient and safe solutions.
